Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of gastroenterologists involved in the management of patients with common complications of cirrhosis, such as hepatic encephalopathy (HE), thrombocytopenia, and hepatorenal syndrome (HRS).

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

Recognize the signs of complications caused by cirrhosis and the impact of current therapeutic interventions

Describe evolving patient management strategies for patients with cirrhosis

Apply the latest evidence-based treatment strategies to optimize outcomes for patients with cirrhosis
