| The members of the UCSF Liver Center are committed to understanding the biology of the liver and alleviating suffering from liver diseases. These physicians and scientists represent 13 separate departments at UCSF, who use the Center community to accelerate their research progress, enrich their knowledge base, forge collaborations and integrate basic biology with clinical medicine. The Center supports these efforts by hosting scientific seminars, operating core facilities and awarding seed grants for innovative research projects. |
