Michael works with global partners on issues related to treatment access and drug development. He is a member of the Hepatitis Community Advisory Board (H-CAB) and the HCV DrAG, where he works with industry, academia, clinicians and regulatory agencies on HCV treatment access and efficient and ethical development of more effective treatment for HCV. He also serves as consultant and partner to a variety of governmental agencies, including WHO, PAHO, HHS and CDC.
Before joining HEP, Michael worked in the private sector with Apple Computer in the Czech Republic and Amazon.com in Seattle. He studied Philosophy at UCLA and has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington.
