Target Audience:

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, advanced practice providers and allied health professionals who provide care for hospitalized patients with liver disease.

Goal Statement:

The goal of this program is to provide important clinical and scientific data on the management of CLD.

Educational Objectives:

After completing this program, participants should be better able to:

  • Understand the complications and the consequences of chronic liver disease
  • Describe the economic, patient and caregiver burdens associated with cirrhosis and HE
  • Demonstrate the ability to properly treat HE patients and prevent recurrence of disease

Accreditation Statement:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the New Mexico Medical Society (NMMS) through the joint providership of Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services (RMCHCS) and the Chronic Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF) and the Texas Gulf Coast Gastroenterological Society (TGCGS). RMCHCS is accredited by the NMMS to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
