Analyze new data reported at the 2011 Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) on the treatment of hepatitis B and how they might modify current treatment algorithms |

Identify baseline viral biomarker characteristics that are associated with HBeAg seroconversion in HBeAg (+) patients when treated with tenofovir |
| • |
Assess the relative importance of seroclearance of HBV DNA, HBeAg, and HBsAg following treatment in predicting reduced risk for HCC |
