The primary goal of this CME symposium is to better understand how to effectively manage and treat patients with cirrhosis based on current guidelines and the latest clinical evidence. |

Discuss the natural history and complications of cirrhosis including management options |

Review the diagnosis and treatment of overt hepatic encephalopathy and recognize the importance of initiating prophylactic therapy following an episode of overt hepatic encephalopathy |

Apply the latest clinical data and management guidelines into clinical practice |
